Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Physics

to join our CBSE-affiliated senior secondary school. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Physics, experience teaching at the high school level (Grades XI-XII), and the ability to prepare students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests (JEE/NEET level concepts).

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. Prepare students for Class XI and XII CBSE board examinations, including conducting regular assessments and practice exams. Incorporate practical lab sessions and experiments to deepen conceptual understanding. Use modern teaching techniques and digital tools to enhance classroom engagement. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with academic goals and curriculum standards. Maintain up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and performance. Provide extra support and remedial classes to students when needed. Guide students in science exhibitions, Olympiads, and project work. Collaborate with fellow faculty to foster a holistic and interdisciplinary academic environment. Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.

Qualifications:

Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Physics from a recognized university. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) - mandatory as per CBSE norms. Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (CBSE preferred). Proficiency in spoken and written English. Strong command over subject matter and effective classroom management skills. Familiarity with educational technology and online teaching tools (e.g., Google Classroom, smartboards, etc.).

Desirable Attributes:

Experience in preparing students for national-level entrance exams like JEE/NEET. Innovative and student-centered approach to teaching. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students towards academic excellence.
