Job Description

:

The PGT Physics Teacher must inspire and guide senior secondary (Grades 11-12), secondary (Grades 9-10) and middle school (Grades 6-8) students towards academic excellence in Physics. The ideal candidate will inspire a love for Physics by creating a stimulating learning environment and encouraging scientific inquiry. The teacher will play a key role in preparing students for CBSE board examinations.

Key Responsibilities:



Teach Physics to students from middle school to senior secondary levels, with a strong focus on the CBSE curriculum for Grades 9 to 12. Plan, organize, and deliver lessons that cater to various learning styles and ensure conceptual understanding of core topics. Manage and conduct practical sessions in the Physics Laboratory, guiding students in performing experiments, maintaining lab records, and completing projects. Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their academic goals. Encourage student participation in science fairs, competitions, and other extracurricular activities related to Physics. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to the development of the school's science program, and integrate Physics with other disciplines. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by school leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:



Education:

BSc and MSc in Physics or allied subjects OR B.Tech and MTech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. B.Ed. is Mandatory.

Experience:

4+ years of experience in teaching Grade 11 and 12. Must have taught at least one batch of Class 12 students who have taken the CBSE board exams.

Skills:



In-depth knowledge of the CBSE Physics curriculum, with experience teaching Grades 9 to 12. Experience working in a Physics laboratory, including managing experiments, lab records, and projects. Fluency in English with excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to teach students of varying ages, including middle school students, with effective lesson planning and instructional techniques. Prior experience teaching Physics at the senior secondary level is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
