The PGT Physics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective Physics lessons to students of Grades 10, 11, and 12 as per the CBSE curriculum. The teacher should foster scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and conceptual clarity, while ensuring academic excellence and exam preparedness.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the CBSE Physics curriculum for Grades 10-12.
Develop and implement creative and practical learning strategies, including lab experiments and demonstrations.
Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments, board examinations, and competitive exams (JEE/NEET-level basics if applicable).
Design and evaluate assignments, tests, and projects to monitor student progress.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Create a stimulating and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
Guide students in Science exhibitions, Olympiads, and related activities.
Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary teaching and school events.
Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's Degree in Physics from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) mandatory.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching Physics at the senior secondary level (CBSE preferred).
Strong knowledge of CBSE syllabus, practicals, and exam patterns.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and simulations.
Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.
