Job Summary


Euro International School is seeking a dynamic and qualified

PGT Physics Teacher

to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a deep understanding of physics concepts, and the ability to inspire and engage students at the senior secondary level (Class 11 & 12). The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality physics instruction, creating a supportive learning environment, and ensuring that students achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities



Instruction and Teaching

: Delivering well-structured physics lessons aligned with the school's curriculum (CBSE or ICSE, depending on your school board). Teaching physics concepts to students of Class 11 and Class 12, preparing them for board exams and competitive exams (e.g., JEE, NEET). Using a variety of teaching methods (demonstrations, practicals, experiments, multimedia, etc.) to cater to different learning styles. Fostering critical thinking, inquiry, and problem-solving skills in students.

Curriculum Development

: Designing and updating lesson plans and learning materials. Preparing and conducting practical experiments as per the curriculum. Developing assessments, quizzes, and tests to evaluate student progress.

Student Support

: Providing individual guidance and mentorship to students who may require additional help. Encouraging participation in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities related to physics (e.g., science fairs, Olympiads). Conducting remedial classes, if required, for struggling students.

Classroom Management

: Maintaining a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning. Encouraging respectful interactions and promoting collaboration among students.

Professional Development

: Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in physics education and teaching methods. Participating in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements



Educational Qualification

: Master's Degree in Physics (M.Sc. Physics) from a recognized university. Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) is desirable. At least 2-3 years of teaching experience in a reputed school, preferably teaching Physics at the senior secondary level (Class 11 and 12).

Skills and Competencies

: Strong subject knowledge in Physics, including theoretical and practical aspects. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to engage students in complex scientific concepts and inspire them to pursue careers in science and technology. Proficiency in using technology (smart boards, online resources, etc.) to enhance teaching. Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
