Job Summary:

The PGT Physics is responsible for teaching Physics to senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII), developing strong conceptual understanding, and preparing students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests. The role includes effective curriculum delivery, laboratory instruction, and academic mentoring.

Teaching & Academic Responsibilities

Teach

Physics

to Classes XI and XII as per the prescribed syllabus Deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons using modern teaching methodologies Explain complex physical concepts, laws, and numerical problem-solving techniques Integrate real-world applications and contemporary scientific developments into teaching Prepare students for

board examinations and competitive exams

(JEE, NEET - where applicable)

Laboratory & Practical Work

Plan, conduct, and supervise Physics practicals as per curriculum guidelines Ensure laboratory safety and proper maintenance of equipment Guide students in practical files, investigatory projects, and experiments

Assessment & Evaluation

Design question papers, worksheets, assignments, and tests Conduct periodic assessments and evaluate student performance Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports Provide timely feedback, remedial teaching, and academic support

Student Mentoring & Development

Mentor students for academic excellence and career guidance Identify learning gaps and support students through enrichment or remedial sessions Encourage analytical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills

Institutional Responsibilities

Participate in faculty meetings, training programs, and workshops Contribute to school events, examinations, and co-curricular activities Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress Maintain discipline and a positive, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

Master's Degree in Physics (M.Sc. Physics)

B.Ed.

(mandatory as per board norms)

Salary:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Accommodation available for outstation candidate.
