We are looking for a qualified and experienced PGT Physics and Mathematics Teacher to teach senior secondary students (Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong subject command, the ability to make complex concepts accessible, and a commitment to academic excellence and student development.
Key Responsibilities:Instructional Duties:
Deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons in Physics and Mathematics as per the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, unit plans, and learning materials in alignment with academic standards.
Use technology and innovative teaching strategies to make lessons interactive and effective.
Prepare students for board examinations through intensive practice, revision, and mock tests.
Assessment & Student Progress:
Conduct regular assessments and analyze student performance data.
Maintain detailed records of academic progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
Identify and support students with different learning needs.
Classroom Management & Culture:
Foster a disciplined, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
Motivate students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Collaboration & Development:
Coordinate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary activities and academic planning.
Participate in school functions, PTMs, workshops, and teacher training programs.
Contribute to the development and review of academic content and pedagogy.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Master's Degree in Physics and Mathematics
B.Ed. (compulsory).
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Physics and/or Mathematics at the senior secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to simplify complex theories and problems.
Proficient in the use of smart classroom tools and digital resources.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Desirable Attributes:
