Job Description

The PGT Mathematics Teacher is responsible for teaching Mathematics to senior secondary classes (Grades 9,10,11 and 12), fostering analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and conceptual understanding. The teacher will plan and deliver effective lessons aligned with the curriculum and prepare students for board and competitive examinations.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic Duties

Teach Mathematics to Classes IX.X, XI and XII as per the prescribed syllabus. Plan lessons, assignments, and assessments in accordance with curriculum guidelines. Use effective teaching strategies to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly. Prepare students for board examinations and relevant competitive exams (if applicable). Assess, evaluate, and record students' academic progress regularly.
Classroom Management

Maintain a disciplined, respectful, and engaging classroom environment. Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning, and independent learning. Identify students needing additional support and provide remedial teaching.
Academic Planning & Evaluation

Prepare question papers, worksheets, and study materials. Participate in evaluation, invigilation, and result analysis. Maintain accurate academic records and documentation.
Professional Responsibilities

Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development activities. Collaborate with colleagues for academic planning and school activities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress when required. Follow school policies, rules, and code of conduct.
Qualifications

Master's Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Mathematics)

from a recognized university.

B.Ed. degree

(mandatory, as per school norms).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
