1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAcademic Delivery

Teach Mathematics to students of Grades 10, 11, and 12 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. Prepare detailed lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and digital teaching resources. Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear, logical, and student-friendly manner. Use innovative teaching methodologies, ICT tools, smart boards, and problem-solving approaches. Encourage analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and application-based learning.

Assessment & Evaluation

Prepare question papers, periodic tests, assignments, and board-oriented practice papers. Conduct assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain accurate academic records. Track individual student performance and provide regular feedback. Conduct remedial classes and enrichment sessions for advanced learners. Prepare students for

CBSE Board Examinations

, Olympiads, NTSE, and competitive exam foundations (if applicable).

Student Mentorship

Identify learning gaps and provide personalized academic support. Guide students in developing confidence and problem-solving skills. Maintain discipline and create a positive, engaging classroom environment.

Documentation & School Engagement

Maintain lesson plans, assessment records, and CBSE documentation. Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, workshops, and school events. Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs regarding student progress.

2. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSEducational Qualification

Master's Degree (M.Sc./M.A.) in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics.

B.Ed. is mandatory

as per CBSE norms. Candidates from

IIT / NIT / Central Universities

preferred.

Experience

Minimum

3 years

of experience teaching Mathematics at the senior secondary (CBSE) level.
