Job Summary

:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Mathematics to join our teaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Samacheer syllabus and possess a passion for teaching mathematics to senior secondary students (Classes 11 & 12). The candidate will play a key role in fostering students' mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and preparing them for academic success in board exams.

Key Responsibilities

:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Samacheer syllabus for Classes 11 and 12. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students' understanding of complex mathematical concepts. Prepare and evaluate assignments, quizzes, and exams to assess student learning and provide constructive feedback. Monitor and support students' academic progress, offering additional help as needed. Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to mathematics (e.g., math clubs, competitions). Integrate technology and digital resources into lessons to enhance learning experiences. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance. Encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity in problem-solving. Stay updated on current educational trends, developments in the Samacheer syllabus, and advancements in mathematics education. Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.

Qualifications and Skills

:

Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics or related field. Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory. Strong understanding of the Samacheer syllabus for Mathematics at the senior secondary level. Proven experience teaching mathematics to Classes 11 and 12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire students, making complex topics accessible and interesting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with using educational technology and online platforms for teaching.

Additional Responsibilities

:

Actively engage in the school's academic and co-curricular programs. Work collaboratively with other subject teachers to integrate interdisciplinary teaching methods. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
