Job Description

Educational background:

You must have a Senior Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.

Teacher training:

You will need one of the following teaching diplomas or degrees: A two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). A four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). A two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). A Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

Certification:

For government-affiliated schools, you must pass Paper-I of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which is conducted by the CBSE.

Language proficiency:

The ability to teach in both Hindi and English mediums is essential.
ResponsibilitiesThe day-to-day duties of a PRT mathematics teacher include:

Lesson planning:

Developing engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the curriculum (e.g., CBSE guidelines).

Instruction:

Delivering clear and creative lessons that make mathematical concepts understandable for young students.

Assessment:

Evaluating students' progress through tests, assignments, and practical exercises, and providing constructive feedback.

Classroom management:

Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.

Parental communication:

Participating in parent-teacher meetings to discuss a student's performance and progress.

Resource management:

Incorporating educational technology, hands-on activities, and other teaching aids to make learning interactive.

Professional development:

Engaging in ongoing training to stay current with the latest educational trends and teaching methods.
