Job Summary:



The

PGT - Mathematics

will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to students of

Classes 9 to 12

in accordance with the

CBSE curriculum

. The role involves effective lesson planning, classroom management, assessment, and the academic development of students, while also contributing to the broader institutional goals of academic excellence and holistic education.

Key Responsibilities:1. Curriculum Planning & Delivery



Develop and implement structured lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and academic calendar. Ensure effective coverage of prescribed NCERT textbooks and relevant supplementary materials. Use diverse instructional strategies and resources, including digital tools, to cater to varying learning styles.

2. Teaching & Learning



Deliver engaging and conceptually clear classroom instruction for Mathematics (

Classes 9 to 12

), including preparation for

Board Examinations (Classes 10 & 12)

. Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and application-based learning. Identify learning gaps and provide remedial instruction as required.

3. Assessment & Evaluation



Design and administer formative and summative assessments as per CBSE norms. Maintain accurate records of student performance, assignments, and examination results. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.

4. Student Support & Mentorship



Monitor and support the academic progress of students, particularly in preparation for competitive exams. Mentor students with a strong interest in mathematics and encourage participation in academic competitions. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

5. Classroom & Behavior Management



Maintain discipline and decorum in the classroom in line with school policies. Promote a respectful and collaborative classroom culture that upholds institutional values.

6. Collaboration & Communication



Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary projects and academic planning. Participate actively in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, school events, and departmental reviews. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and areas of concern.

7. Professional Development



Stay updated with changes in the CBSE curriculum, assessment policies, and best practices in pedagogy. Participate in training programs, workshops, and continuous professional development initiatives.

8. Administrative & Institutional Duties



Maintain all academic records, reports, and documentation as per school and CBSE requirements. Assist in examination duties, invigilation, and other institutional activities. Contribute to school-wide initiatives and uphold the school's mission, vision, and values.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
