Job Responsibilities: PGT - Mathematics (CBSE Board)

1.

Academic Planning and Delivery

Plan and deliver engaging and effective Math lessons (IX to XII) as per the curriculum (CBSE Board).

Prepare yearly, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.

Utilize appropriate teaching aids and technology to enhance learning.

2.

Student Performance and Assessment

Design and administer formative and summative assessments.

Analyze student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Identify learning gaps and implement remedial measures.

3.

Curriculum Development

Contribute to the development and enrichment of the Mathematics curriculum.

Integrate real-life applications and higher-order thinking skills into lesson plans.

Update teaching content and pedagogy based on latest educational trends and NEP guidelines.

4.

Classroom Management

Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Foster student engagement and motivation.

Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure minimal disruptions.

5.

Professional Development

Participate in workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

Stay updated with current trends in mathematics education and pedagogical innovations.

Collaborate with peers for lesson improvement and interdisciplinary learning.

6.

Parent Communication and Reporting

Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and concerns.

Attend parent-teacher meetings and maintain accurate student records.

Provide academic guidance and support to students and parents.

7.

School Activities and Responsibilities

Actively participate in school functions, events, and co-curricular activities.

Take additional responsibilities such as exam supervision, mentoring students, or club coordination.

Support school initiatives and uphold the institution's values and mission.
