Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in PGT History, covering various historical periods and themes.
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and discussion.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the history curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
Stay updated on current educational practices and historical scholarship to continually improve teaching methods.
Requirements
A degree in History or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is desirable.
Previous experience teaching at the PGT level or equivalent educational settings is preferred.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.
A passion for history and an enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with others.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
