Job Description

A Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in History and Political Science is responsible for teaching these subjects to senior secondary students, typically in grades 11 and 12. The role involves developing and delivering lesson plans, evaluating student performance, and preparing students for board examinations. Additionally, PGTs may be involved in curriculum development, mentoring students, and participating in school-related activities. Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and teaching materials for History and Political Science, aligning with the school's curriculum and examination board guidelines (e.g., CBSE).

Student Assessment:

Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and exams, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.

Subject Matter Expertise:

Maintain a strong understanding of the subject matter, staying updated on current events, research, and pedagogical best practices.

Mentorship and Guidance:

Mentor and guide students, providing academic support and career advice.

Required Qualifications:

Post-Graduate Degree:
