Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Classroom Instruction
Teach History to Senior Secondary classes in alignment with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
Develop engaging lesson plans, teaching aids, and learning activities.
Foster critical thinking, historical analysis, and research skills among students.
Integrate technology and multimedia tools into classroom instruction.
Conduct formative and summative assessments and maintain academic records.
Academic Planning & Student Support
Prepare students for Board examinations through structured academic planning.
Provide academic guidance and remedial support where required.
Encourage discussions, debates, and project-based learning to deepen subject understanding.
Promote an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative classroom environment.
Collaboration & Professional Engagement
Work closely with department colleagues and school leadership on curriculum implementation.
Participate in staff meetings, academic events, and school initiatives.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in History (Mandatory)
B.Ed (Mandatory)
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching History at Senior Secondary level
Good communication and English language skills
Strong computer proficiency for teaching and documentation
Experience in a CBSE school will be an added advantage
