Role Summary

The PGT Hindi Teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi language and literature to middle and secondary school students (Grades 8-10), strengthening reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills while ensuring strong academic performance and values-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

Teach

Hindi Language and Literature

to

Grades 8-10

as per the prescribed curriculum Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons using effective teaching strategies Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment tools Conduct regular tests, evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to students Prepare students for

board examinations (Grade 10)

with focus on exam patterns and writing skills Enhance students' vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and creative writing skills Encourage participation in debates, recitation, essay writing, and cultural activities Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment Use teaching aids, audio-visual tools, and ICT resources effectively Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and performance Participate in academic planning, staff meetings, and training programs Support school events, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities Follow school rules, academic schedules, and assessment policies
Qualifications & Experience

Post Graduation (MA Hindi)

from a recognized university

B.Ed.

is mandatory Minimum

2-5 years of teaching experience

preferred Experience in teaching

Grade 10 board classes

is an advantage Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also be considered
Required Skills & Competencies

Excellent command over written and spoken Hindi Strong knowledge of grammar, literature, and evaluation patterns Effective classroom management and communication skills Student-focused, patient, and motivating teaching style Ability to work collaboratively with staff and management Willingness to adopt innovative teaching methods
