The PGT Hindi Teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi language and literature to senior secondary students (Classes XI-XII). The role focuses on advanced language skills, literary analysis, exam preparation, and guiding students for board examinations while contributing to the academic excellence of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver Hindi lessons as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE / ICSE / State Board, as applicable).
Teach Hindi grammar, prose, poetry, and supplementary readers.
Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills in Hindi.
Prepare students for internal assessments, board examinations, and competitive exams where applicable.
Set question papers, conduct examinations, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain academic records.
Use innovative teaching methods, ICT tools, and teaching aids to enhance learning.
Provide individual attention, remedial teaching, and academic support to students.
Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
Participate in curriculum planning, academic meetings, workshops, and training programs.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress.
Take up additional responsibilities such as class teacher duties, exam invigilation, and school events.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Qualification:
Master's Degree in Hindi
B.Ed. (Mandatory)
Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level preferred
Experience with board exam classes is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent command over Hindi language and literature.
Strong subject knowledge aligned with senior secondary syllabus.
Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
Ability to mentor and guide students academically.
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
