The PGT Hindi Teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi language and literature to senior secondary students (Classes XI-XII). The role involves delivering curriculum-aligned lessons, preparing students for board examinations, and fostering linguistic, literary, and cultural appreciation of Hindi.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Hindi language and literature to Classes XI and XII as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ISC/State Board).
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans.
Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills in Hindi.
Prepare students for board examinations through structured assessments, revisions, and practice tests.
Evaluate answer sheets, assignments, projects, and maintain academic records.
Use innovative teaching methods, ICT tools, and audio-visual aids to enhance learning.
Guide students in projects, debates, recitations, and literary activities.
Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
Participate in staff meetings, training programs, workshops, and school events.
Contribute to curriculum planning, academic enrichment, and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Hindi from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
Skills & Competencies
Strong command over Hindi grammar, literature, and pedagogy.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate senior secondary students.
Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment, and exam-oriented teaching.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms.
Commitment to professional ethics and continuous development.
Experience
Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (preferred).
Fresh postgraduates with strong academic records may also apply
