PGT English Teacher (Class 11 & 12) -- Urgent Requirement

About the Role:

We are urgently seeking a passionate and experienced

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in English

to teach Classes 11 and 12. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage senior secondary students in critical thinking, creative writing, and literary appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Classes 11 & 12 as per CBSE curriculum. Prepare students for board examinations with a strong focus on writing, comprehension, and analytical skills. Design and implement lesson plans, projects, and assessments that promote language proficiency and appreciation of literature. Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain proper academic records, attendance, and evaluation data. Organize and participate in co-curricular activities such as debates, elocution, and literary clubs. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching-learning practices and participate in departmental meetings. Ensure a positive learning environment that supports student growth and well-being.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

M.A. in English.

Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (CBSE/ICSE preferred).

Skills:

Excellent command over spoken and written English. Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in digital/online teaching tools. Ability to inspire and motivate students toward academic excellence.
