We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our CBSE school in Ambala, Haryana. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students in creative and interactive learning.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons for Senior Secondary classes (XI & XII).
Develop lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
Enhance students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills in English.
Use innovative teaching methods and integrate technology in classroom teaching.
Assess and evaluate students' progress through class tests, assignments, and examinations.
Prepare students for board exams with proper guidance and practice sessions.
Maintain records of student performance and provide regular feedback to parents.
Encourage participation in debates, elocution, essay writing, and literary activities.
Ensure classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in English (M.A. English) from a recognized university.
B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
Strong command over spoken and written English.
Good communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and exam patterns.
Salary: ₹25,000 - ?35,000 (Negotiable based on experience and qualification)
