Job Title: PGT English Teacher
Location: Gadhinglaj, Kolhapur, Maharashtra - 416502
Salary: 25000-30000/-per month (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
School Type: CBSE/State Board (Specify if known)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Teach English to Senior Secondary classes (Grades 11 & 12).
Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives and student needs.
Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, and literary analysis skills.
Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and evaluations.
Encourage classroom discussion and critical thinking.
Organize English-related co-curricular activities like debates, elocution, and writing competitions.
Support students in board exam preparation with extra classes and guidance.
Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary learning and school events.
Requirements
Key Skills Required:
Strong command of English language and literature
Effective communication and presentation skills
Classroom management and student engagement techniques
Lesson planning and assessment proficiency
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and technology
Educational Qualifications:
Master's Degree in English
B.Ed. (Mandatory)
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in teaching English at Senior Secondary level
Experience in CBSE/State Board curriculum preferred
