Job Title:

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - English

Salary:

35,000 -
40,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience)

Experience Required:

1-2 years of teaching experience preferred

Educational Qualification:

Master's Degree in English (MA in English) B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) - Mandatory

:Core Responsibilities:

Teach

English language and literature

to

senior secondary classes (Classes 11 & 12)

following CBSE or State Board curriculum. Design and deliver

engaging, student-centered lessons

focused on grammar, writing, poetry, prose, and communication skills. Prepare students for

board examinations

, competitive exams, and advanced academic writing.

Instructional Duties:

Develop and implement

lesson plans

and

classroom activities

that align with educational objectives. Use

modern teaching tools

and technology (e.g., smart boards, presentations, online resources) to enhance student learning. Assign and assess

homework, projects, essays

, and

oral presentations

. Conduct

regular tests and evaluations

to track and support academic progress.

Additional Responsibilities:

Participate in

curriculum planning

,

department meetings

, and

school events

. Foster a classroom environment that encourages

creativity, confidence, and analytical thinking

. Support students in

literary competitions

,

debates

, and

language-based extracurricular activities

. Maintain accurate

student records

and collaborate with parents during PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings).
