Qualification

M.A. in English (mandatory)

B.Ed. (mandatory)

CTET - preferred

Minimum CBSE teaching experience in Class X and/or XII - 2 years

Exposure to Cambridge ESOL / TOEFL / IELTS / similar frameworks - Preferred

Key Skills & Competencies

Excellent spoken and written English

Strong drafting, editing, and academic writing skills

Sound knowledge of CBSE English Core curriculum & assessment patterns

Proficiency in phonetics, pronunciation, and public speaking

Ability to train students for board exams, CUET, SAT/IELTS/TOEFL, and higher studies readiness

Additional Expectations

Experience in organising literary events, debates, and English club activities

Competency in creating exam-oriented worksheets and assessments

Student-centric approach with effective classroom management

Familiarity with ICT tools and modern pedagogy
