PGT English Teacher
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English Core/Elective to senior secondary classes (11th & 12th), fostering critical thinking through literature, and refining students' academic writing and verbal skills.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Instruction:
Deliver insightful lectures on English Literature (Prose, Poetry, and Drama) and advanced Grammar.
Board Examination Prep:
Specialize in preparing students for Board Exams, focusing on answer-writing techniques, time management, and scoring strategies.
Literary Analysis:
Encourage students to analyze themes, literary devices, and historical contexts of prescribed texts.
Communication Coaching:
Enhance students' public speaking, debating, and creative writing skills.
Evaluation:
Design and grade comprehensive mock tests, assignments, and internal assessments.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain meticulous records of student progress and participate in curriculum planning and school events.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Post Graduate degree in English (
M.A. English
) and a
B.Ed.
from a recognized university.
Experience:
3+ years of experience teaching senior secondary classes (Grade 11 & 12) is highly preferred.
Language Command:
Exceptional mastery over the English language (written and spoken) with a sophisticated vocabulary.
Pedagogy:
Ability to make literature relatable and engaging for teenagers using modern teaching aids.
