Job Description

Job Title:

PGT English (Post Graduate Teacher - English)

Key Responsibilities & Duties



Academic Delivery:

Teach English literature and language to senior secondary classes in accordance with CBSE or relevant curriculum.

Lesson Planning:

Prepare, develop, and implement comprehensive lesson plans, including unit-wise, and annual plans based on student needs.

Assessment & Evaluation:

Design and conduct assessments, mark exams, and maintain detailed student records (portfolios, attendance).

Curriculum Development:

Integrate modern, creative, and student-centered, pedagogical techniques such as experiential learning to improve language skills.

Mentorship:

Guide students for board examinations, competitive exams, and career orientation.

Extracurricular Involvement:

Organize, supervise, and participate in literary activities, debates, and school events.

Communication:

Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.

Qualifications & Requirements



Education:

A Master's degree in English (M.A.) from a recognized university.

Teaching Qualification:

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous experience teaching senior classes (XI-XII) is generally preferred, especially with CBSE board familiarity.

Skills:

Exceptional command of the English language (written and spoken), strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in using digital tools for teaching.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
