Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified and dedicated

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - English

to teach senior secondary school students (Grades 11 and 12). The candidate should be passionate about English language and literature, capable of delivering engaging lessons, and committed to academic excellence and holistic student development.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

Plan and deliver English lessons that are aligned with the CBSE/ICSE/State curriculum. Teach both English Core and English Elective (if applicable) at the senior secondary level. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments to ensure effective learning outcomes. Foster critical thinking, analytical writing, and reading comprehension skills.

Student Assessment & Progress Tracking

Conduct regular assessments, class tests, and assignments to monitor student performance. Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback. Maintain academic records, attendance, and student profiles.

Academic Support & Exam Preparation

Prepare students for board examinations by conducting mock tests and revision sessions. Address academic challenges through remedial classes and one-on-one guidance.

Co-Curricular Engagement

Organize and support literary activities such as debates, dramatics, poetry recitation, essay writing, etc. Encourage student participation in inter-school and intra-school competitions.

Professional Collaboration & Development

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programs, and workshops. Collaborate with fellow educators to plan interdisciplinary projects or school events. Engage in curriculum development and syllabus enrichment.

Classroom & School Environment

Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and student-friendly classroom. Support the school's vision, mission, and core values in all teaching and non-teaching activities.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
