Position Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering the English curriculum for Classes XI and XII in alignment with CBSE guidelines, ensuring high standards of instruction, discipline, and student engagement. The role requires a proactive professional who can elevate learning outcomes through structured planning, rigorous pedagogy, and consistent academic monitoring.

Roles and Responsibilities

Teach English Language and Literature to Senior Secondary students as per CBSE norms. Develop comprehensive lesson plans, academic resources, and student assessments. Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations through systematic practice and targeted feedback. Monitor and evaluate student performance to support continuous academic improvement. Maintain classroom decorum and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment. Integrate reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills into daily teaching practices. Collaborate with academic coordinators for syllabus planning, curriculum enrichment, and pedagogical improvements. Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, school events, and parent interactions.

Eligibility Criteria

Master's Degree in English from a recognized university. B.Ed. qualification (mandatory as per CBSE requirements). Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the Senior Secondary level (preferred). Excellent command over spoken and written English. Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
