SIT Public School is inviting applications for the role of

PGT English

to teach higher classes (Grades XI-XII). We are looking for a passionate, fluent, and student-centric educator with a strong academic background in English literature and language. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to connect with teenage learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English literature and language to senior secondary students as per CBSE curriculum. Develop comprehensive lesson plans that encourage critical thinking and articulate expression. Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and provide constructive feedback to students. Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, discipline, and a love for literature. Prepare students for board exams and support them in developing analytical and writing skills. Encourage students' participation in debates, elocution, literary activities, and creative writing. Collaborate with fellow educators to plan and execute inter-disciplinary teaching. Maintain communication with parents regarding students' progress and behavior. Participate in school events, workshops, and continuous professional development.

Candidate Requirements:

Master's Degree in English (M.A.) from a recognized university. B.Ed. degree is mandatory. Fluent in spoken and written English. Strong classroom presence, patience, and the ability to guide adolescent learners. Prior teaching experience at the senior secondary level is preferred. Sound knowledge of literary texts, grammar, and exam patterns.
