We are looking for a qualified and experienced

PGT English Teacher

to teach English to senior secondary students (Classes XI and XII) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students to develop strong language and literary skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons as per the CBSE syllabus. Teach English Core for Classes XI and XII, covering prose, poetry, writing skills, and grammar. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements. Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations. Provide regular feedback to students and parents about academic progress. Prepare students for CBSE board examinations through intensive practice and guidance. Conduct remedial and enrichment classes as needed. Integrate technology and interactive methods to enhance classroom learning. Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs. Maintain discipline and promote a positive classroom environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

Postgraduate degree (M.A.) in English and B.Ed. from a recognized university (mandatory as per CBSE norms). Minimum 2-5 years of experience teaching English at the senior secondary level in a CBSE-affiliated school. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Strong understanding of the CBSE assessment structure and board exam pattern.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with NEP 2020 teaching methodologies and blended learning. Proficiency in using digital tools like Google Classroom, MS Teams, smart boards, etc. Ability to mentor students for English Olympiads, debates, elocution, and other literary activities. Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
