Job Description

The PGT English is responsible for teaching English to senior secondary students (Classes IX to XII), developing students' language proficiency, literary appreciation, critical thinking, and communication skills in alignment with the prescribed curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Teach English Language and Literature to Classes XI and XII as per the prescribed syllabus (CBSE Board) Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans Prepare students for board examinations and assessments Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and projects Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports Encourage literary appreciation through discussions, debates, and creative activities Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods in classroom instruction Participate in academic planning, staff meetings, and co-curricular activities Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
