Key Responsibilities

Teach Economics to Classes XI and XII as per CBSE curriculum and guidelines. Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons using effective teaching strategies. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment tools. Conduct periodic tests, evaluate answer sheets, and provide constructive feedback to students. Prepare students for board examinations, competitive exams, and practical applications of Economics. Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports. Integrate current economic events and real-world examples into classroom teaching. Participate in curriculum planning, academic meetings, and teacher training programs. Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and concerns. Support co-curricular and school activities as assigned by the school management.
Eligibility & Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in

Economics

(M.A. Economics) from a recognised university.

B.Ed.

is mandatory. Minimum

2-5 years of teaching experience

at the senior secondary level (preferred). Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with CBSE examination patterns. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using digital tools and smart classroom technology.
