Master's Degree in Economics (MA/M.Sc. Economics) from a recognized university B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification

Roles & Responsibilities:

Teach Economics to senior secondary classes (XI-XII) as per the prescribed curriculum. Prepare and deliver well-structured lesson plans covering Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, National Income, Market Equilibrium, and related topics. Conduct assessments, evaluate academic performance, and maintain detailed student records. Use interactive teaching methods, digital tools, and real-life examples to enhance conceptual understanding. Guide students in project work, presentations, and exam preparation for board assessments. Provide additional support to students needing clarification or extra practice. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Participate in school activities, staff meetings, PTMs, and faculty development programs. Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and academic enhancement.
