Meluha International School is seeking a dynamic and experienced

Computer Science Faculty

to teach Grades 11 and 12. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the

CBSE curriculum

, with expertise in

Python, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and InfraAC

. This role requires a balance of

theoretical instruction

and

practical application

, preparing students for both academic success and real-world technological challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach

Computer Science

to Grades 11 and 12, providing comprehensive coverage of both

SL (Standard Level)

and

HL (Higher Level)

topics. Develop and deliver

theory lessons

and

hands-on projects

that engage students in the areas of

Python programming, AI, ML

, and other core topics. Design and administer assessments in accordance with

IB assessment standards

, providing feedback that helps students meet

IB Diploma Programme

requirements. Guide students in developing their

Internal Assessments (IA)

, offering technical guidance and support in project-based learning. Integrate the use of

educational technology

, ensuring students are proficient in practical tools and programming environments. Foster a

collaborative learning environment

, encouraging peer discussions, problem-solving sessions, and teamwork. Lead extracurricular activities like

coding clubs

,

AI competitions

, and

tech workshops

to enhance students' learning beyond the classroom. Provide

pastoral care

and academic mentoring for students, helping them manage the pressures of the IB programme. Participate actively in faculty meetings, curriculum development, workshops and teaching strategies. Engage in

continuous professional development

, staying informed about advancements in technology and their potential applications in education.

Qualifications:

A

Master's degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

1.5-2 years of teaching experience

in the

Computer Science curriculum

. Strong proficiency in

Python, AI, Machine Learning

, and

InfraAC

with the ability to teach both

theoretical

and

practical

aspects. Experience guiding students through

IB Internal Assessments (IA)

and preparing them for the

final IB exams

is prefferable. Excellent understanding of the

IB Diploma Programme's teaching philosophy

, objectives, and assessment criteria. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those requiring

support and enrichment

. Effective classroom management skills, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with additional programming languages, such as

Java, C++, or JavaScript

. Experience in

Data Science

is a plus. Knowledge of
