Job Summary:

The PGT Computer Science teacher is responsible for teaching senior secondary classes (XI-XII), delivering the prescribed curriculum effectively, and preparing students for board examinations while promoting analytical thinking and practical application of computer science concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Computer Science to Classes XI and XII as per CBSE/ISC curriculum Cover theory and practical syllabus including Python, SQL, Data Structures, DBMS, Networking, etc. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments Conduct practical lab sessions and guide project work Prepare students for board exams, competitive exams, and practical assessments Evaluate answer sheets, practical files, and projects Maintain student academic records and progress reports Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods in the classroom Participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment

Eligibility & Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

M.Sc / M.C.A / M.Tech / B.Tech in Computer Science or related field B.Ed (mandatory as per CBSE norms)

Experience:

Minimum 3-7 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong subject knowledge and programming skills Proficiency in Python, SQL, and computer applications Good communication and classroom management skills Ability to mentor and motivate students Familiarity with smart classrooms and digital tools
