Role Summary

The PGT Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering computer science lessons to senior secondary students. The teacher will guide students in both theoretical knowledge and practical applications, ensuring they are well-prepared for board exams, higher studies, and modern IT skills.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Computer Science (theory + practical) to classes XI-XII. Develop lesson plans in alignment with CBSE/State Board curriculum. Deliver engaging lectures on programming, databases, networking, software, and emerging technologies. Conduct lab sessions on programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python, etc.) and application software. Prepare students for practical exams, projects, and competitions. Evaluate assignments, projects, and examinations to track progress. Maintain discipline, a positive classroom environment, and effective teaching methodologies. Update knowledge base in emerging IT tools, software, and technologies. Collaborate with other faculty and participate in school activities.
Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in programming languages: C, C++, Python, Java (as per curriculum). Knowledge of database management systems, networking fundamentals, operating systems. Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner. Strong classroom management skills. Good communication skills in English and Hindi. Strong organizational, analytical, and mentoring skills. Familiarity with digital tools and e-learning platforms.
Qualifications

MCA / BCA degree from a recognized university. 1-2 years of experience in teaching Computer Science or IT. Familiarity with CBSE/State syllabus preferred. Additional certifications in programming / IT tools will be an advantage.
