PGT Commerce Teacher
. The candidate will be responsible for teaching
Accountancy, Business Studies, and/or Economics
to students of Classes 11 and 12, bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Subject Instruction:
Deliver clear and concise lessons on Accountancy (Double entry, Financial Statements), Business Studies (Management principles, Finance), and Economics.
Practical Application:
Guide students in completing mandatory CBSE/Board projects and internal assessments.
Competitive Edge:
Prepare students for Board Examinations and provide foundational knowledge for entrance exams like CUET, CA Foundation, etc.
Modern Pedagogy:
Use case studies, news from the financial world, and digital tools to make commerce lessons interactive and relevant.
Performance Tracking:
Conduct regular mock exams, evaluate answer scripts as per board marking schemes, and provide constructive feedback.
Career Counseling:
Help students understand various career trajectories available in the Commerce stream.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Post Graduate degree in Commerce (
M.Com
) and a
B.Ed.
from a recognized university. (M.A. Economics with B.Ed. is also eligible for the Economics profile).
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching senior secondary commerce classes.
Skills:
Strong analytical and numerical skills; ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
Communication:
Proficiency in English and Hindi to facilitate effective learning.
