Job Description

Teach Commerce subjects including Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and related areas to senior secondary students. Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in line with the curriculum and school guidelines. Use innovative teaching methods, including case studies, projects, and practical examples, to enhance understanding. Design and conduct assessments, tests, and examinations. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports as required. Mentor and guide students in academic and career-related matters. Identify learning gaps and provide extra support or remedial guidance where necessary. Encourage participation in commerce-related activities, competitions, and seminars. Attend faculty meetings, training sessions, and workshops as required. Collaborate with other teachers to enhance cross-disciplinary learning. Stay updated with developments in the field of commerce education. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a conducive learning environment. Coordinate with parents, staff, and management regarding student progress and school activities. Participate in school events, co-curricular programs, and extracurricular activities as needed.
