1. Roles & Duties of a PGT Chemistry Teacher1. Teaching Responsibilities

Teach

Chemistry (Physical, Organic, and Inorganic)

to

Classes 11 & 12

as per

CBSE syllabus

. Develop and execute

lesson plans

to make concepts clear and engaging. Use

interactive teaching methods

, including

smart classes, presentations, and practical demonstrations

. Prepare students for

CBSE board exams, NEET, JEE, and other competitive exams

. Address

students' doubts

and ensure conceptual clarity.

2. Laboratory & Practical Work

Conduct

practical experiments

in accordance with the

CBSE lab manual

. Maintain a

safe and well-equipped laboratory

. Demonstrate

chemical reactions and experiments

to enhance practical knowledge. Ensure

proper handling and disposal of chemicals

.

3. Assessment & Evaluation

Design and conduct

tests, quizzes, and assignments

regularly. Evaluate answer sheets and provide

constructive feedback

. Maintain

student performance records

and track their progress.

4. Curriculum & Academic Planning

Stay updated with

CBSE guidelines

and implement the latest changes in the syllabus. Prepare

yearly, monthly, and daily teaching plans

. Integrate

practical applications

of Chemistry into the syllabus.

5. Mentoring & Guidance

Provide

academic guidance and career counseling

to students. Encourage students to participate in

science fairs, olympiads, and competitions

. Guide students in preparing for

practical exams and research projects

.

6. Administrative & School Responsibilities

Attend

staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and workshops

. Maintain

discipline and a positive learning environment

in the classroom. Collaborate with other subject teachers for

interdisciplinary learning

. Participate in

school functions, events, and extracurricular activities

.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
