1. Subject Expertise

Deep knowledge of Organic, Inorganic & Physical Chemistry Strong understanding of CBSE/State Board syllabus (XI & XII) Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, clear ways Updated with NEET/JEE level fundamentals (if the school supports competitive exams)

2. Teaching & Classroom Management Skills

Strong lesson planning and instructional skills Ability to handle senior secondary students effectively Classroom discipline and student engagement skills Use of real-life examples, experiments, and visual aids

3. Laboratory Skills

Practical demonstration skills Handling, maintaining, and storing laboratory chemicals safely Conducting practical exams, experiments, and lab records Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures

4. Assessment & Evaluation Skills

Preparing question papers (board pattern) Conducting tests, assignments, and lab assessments Monitoring student performance and giving feedback Maintaining academic records

5. Technology Skills

Smart Board / Digital teaching tools Preparing PPTs, worksheets, and online assessments Basic computer skills (MS Office, digital classroom apps)

6. Communication & Interpersonal Skills

Clear and effective communication (English + local language if needed) Ability to build rapport with students Positive attitude, patience, and motivation skills Coordinating with parents and staff

7. Professional & Administrative Skills

Updating lesson plans and academic reports Participating in school events, meetings, and academic planning Understanding of school policies and examination procedures Continuous learning and upskilling
