Pinnacle Public School is seeking a dedicated and inspiring
Chemistry Teacher
to teach Grades 7 to 12. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, the ability to connect concepts to real-life applications, and a passion for fostering curiosity and academic excellence in students.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Teaching:
Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for Grades 7-12 as per CBSE guidelines.
Use a variety of teaching strategies, practical demonstrations, and experiments to clarify concepts.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments in a timely manner.
Incorporate technology, models, and visual aids to enhance understanding.
Practical & Lab Management:
Conduct lab experiments safely and effectively while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain and manage the Chemistry lab equipment and materials efficiently.
Guide students in practical file preparation and experimental skills.
Student Development:
Prepare students for school assessments and CBSE board examinations with regular revisions and practice tests.
Identify and support students needing additional academic help.
Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific temper among students.
Record Keeping & Reporting:
Maintain student attendance, academic progress records, and practical file evaluations.
Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events as required.
Collaboration & Growth:
Collaborate with Science Department teachers for integrated learning activities.
Participate in workshops and continuous professional development for subject enrichment.
Contribute to Science exhibitions, competitions, and Olympiad preparations.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Master's degree in Chemistry with B.Ed (mandatory).
2+ years of teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
Strong command over subject knowledge and board exam pattern.
Ability to connect with students across grades and build a positive classroom environment.
Proficiency in English communication; working knowledge of Hindi/Gujarati is a plus.
Comfortable with using technology for teaching and student engagement.
