Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students at the senior secondary level (Class 11 & 12) and contributing to the overall development of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons that cater to the needs of students. Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters academic excellence. Assess and evaluate students' progress regularly through tests, assignments, and examinations. Prepare students for board examinations with a strong emphasis on conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes. Provide individual support and mentorship to students as needed. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience. Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Chemistry from a recognized university. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification. Previous experience as a PGT Chemistry Teacher is preferred. Strong command over the subject matter and excellent communication skills. Ability to engage and inspire students in the learning process. Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching is a plus.
