Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning modules.
Conduct practical classes, demonstrations, and ensure proper lab safety.
Evaluate students' performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.
Prepare question papers, answer keys, and maintain academic records.
Use innovative teaching methodologies, including digital tools and activities.
Provide academic support to students preparing for competitive exams like NEET/JEE (if required by the school).
2. Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Monitor student attendance, behavior, and participation.
Ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere in class and labs.
3. Lab Management
Maintain Chemistry laboratory equipment and chemicals.
Ensure proper documentation: stock register, breakage register, practical files.
Follow safety protocols and train students on lab safety.
4. Student Support
Provide individual guidance and doubt-clearing sessions.
Track student progress and share feedback with parents during PTMs.
Motivate students to participate in Olympiads, Science exhibitions, and projects.
5. Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain proper documentation as per school policies.
Participate in school events, assemblies, workshops, and faculty meetings.
Assist in exam duties, invigilation, and evaluation work.
Support school initiatives and contribute to overall academic improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Master's Degree in Chemistry
from a recognized university.
B.Ed.
mandatory (as per CBSE norms).
Minimum
2-5 years of teaching experience
at senior secondary level (preferred).
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
Familiarity with modern teaching tools (smart boards, digital content).
