Role Overview



The

PGT Business Studies

is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in

Business Studies

to senior secondary students (Classes XI-XII), enabling them to develop

conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and practical understanding

of business, management, and entrepreneurship in alignment with

CBSE curriculum guidelines

.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic & Teaching



Plan, prepare, and deliver

effective Business Studies lessons

for

Classes XI and XII

as per the CBSE syllabus. Develop

lesson plans, case studies, presentations, and worksheets

to support concept-based learning. Integrate

real-world business examples, current affairs, and industry practices

into classroom teaching. Conduct

regular assessments

, assignments, and tests to evaluate student progress.

Examinations & Assessment



Prepare students for

Board Examinations

, ensuring syllabus completion and timely revision. Set question papers, conduct internal assessments, and evaluate answer sheets as per CBSE norms. Maintain accurate academic records, grades, and assessment data in the

ERP system

.

Student Mentoring & Skill Development



Guide students in developing

analytical, decision-making, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills

. Mentor students for

commerce-related competitions, business quizzes, and projects

. Provide academic counseling and support to help students achieve their academic goals.

Classroom Management & Discipline



Maintain a

disciplined, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

. Encourage critical thinking, participation, and ethical understanding of business practices. Ensure adherence to school rules and code of conduct.

Administrative & Institutional Duties



Participate in staff meetings, trainings, workshops, and school events. Assist in school activities, exhibitions, seminars, and commerce club initiatives. Coordinate with other faculty members and academic heads for curriculum planning and execution.

Qualifications & Skills Required



Post-Graduate Degree in Commerce / Business Studies / Management

from a recognized university.

B.Ed.

mandatory (as per CBSE norms).

Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience

at the senior secondary level preferred. In-depth knowledge of

CBSE Business Studies syllabus and examination pattern

. Strong

communication, presentation, and classroom management skills

. Ability to relate business concepts to real-life situations and current market trends. Proficiency in using

digital tools, ERP systems, and teaching aids

.

Demonstrate

professionalism, punctuality, and ethical conduct

. Act as a mentor and role model for students. Contribute positively to the academic culture and reputation of the school.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
