1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAcademic Delivery

Teach Biology (Botany & Zoology) to Grades 10, 11, and 12 as per CBSE curriculum. Prepare structured lesson plans, teaching modules, presentations, and digital learning resources. Deliver engaging, concept-oriented classes focusing on real-life applications and scientific thinking. Conduct practical sessions and laboratory activities ensuring safety and accuracy. Integrate modern teaching tools, ICT resources, models, and animations to enhance learning.

Assessment & Evaluation

Prepare question papers, worksheets, assignments, periodic tests, and board-level practice materials. Assess, record, and track student progress regularly. Provide timely feedback and implement remedial/enrichment classes as needed. Prepare students for

CBSE Board Exams

, Olympiads, NEET foundations (if applicable), and competitions.

Student Mentorship

Identify learning gaps and provide personalized support. Motivate and guide high achievers as well as struggling learners. Foster a positive, disciplined, and inquiry-driven classroom environment.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain lesson plans, lab records, student registers, and CBSE documentation. Ensure adherence to CBSE norms, internal examination processes, and school policies.

School Engagement

Participate in science exhibitions, fairs, workshops, field trips, and academic events. Be actively involved in departmental meetings and professional development programs. Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and other interactions.

2. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSEducational Qualification

Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Biology, Botany, Zoology, or Life Sciences.

B.Ed.

is mandatory as per CBSE norms. Preference for candidates from
