The PGT Accounts Teacher will be responsible for teaching Accountancy to senior secondary students (Grades XI & XII) in line with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher should foster conceptual clarity, practical application, and analytical thinking in students, while also preparing them for board examinations and competitive assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Accountancy lessons as per CBSE syllabus.
Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and practice materials for students.
Clarify concepts in Accounting, Financial Management, Partnership Accounts, Company Accounts, and related topics.
Conduct class tests, assignments, and periodic assessments to monitor student progress.
Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students for board exams and higher education.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Commerce department for integrated teaching.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide constructive feedback.
Support school activities, events, and examinations as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's Degree (M.Com) in Commerce/Accountancy.
B.Ed. qualification (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
Ability to integrate technology into teaching (Smart Boards, MS Office, online platforms).
Passion for student learning, discipline, and academic excellence.
Preferred Attributes:
Prior experience in CBSE schools.
Exposure to board exam evaluation or paper setting.
Strong mentoring and motivational skills.
