Job Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Accountancy

to teach students of Grades XI and XII under the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will be responsible for helping students understand accounting principles, business concepts, and financial management practices while preparing them for board examinations and higher studies in commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach

Accountancy

to students of Grades XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. Design and deliver

lesson plans, assignments, and projects

focused on conceptual understanding and real-world application. Prepare students for

CBSE board examinations

through structured revision, mock tests, and exam strategies. Guide students in

accounting software usage, financial analysis, and project work

as per CBSE requirements. Maintain

accurate records of student performance

, attendance, and progress. Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ethical understanding in financial practices. Integrate

digital tools and interactive teaching methods

to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with other faculty members to plan the

Commerce Department curriculum

and co-curricular activities. Participate actively in

school events, seminars, and workshops

to promote commerce education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualification:

Master's degree in Commerce/Accountancy (mandatory). B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).

Experience:

Minimum

3-5 years

of teaching experience at the senior secondary level in a CBSE school preferred.

Skills:

Strong command over accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts using practical examples. Familiarity with CBSE academic guidelines and assessment patterns.

Work Environment & Expectations:

Conduct regular academic and remedial sessions as per student needs. Participate in

PTMs, departmental meetings, and professional development programs

. Maintain high academic standards and a positive classroom environment. Encourage career awareness in commerce, accounting, and finance fields.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
