Key Responsibilities: Curriculum & Pedagogy
Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge (CIE) curriculum standards for Accountancy and Economics.

Guide students in understanding core economic principles, accounting standards, financial literacy, and business applications.

Assessment & Evaluation
Design formative and summative assessments in accordance with CIE guidelines.
Analyze student performance and provide regular, constructive feedback.
Maintain records of academic progress and communicate regularly with parents and school leadership.
Academic Contribution
Assist in the development of subject enrichment programs, inter-school events, and co-curricular activities.
Mentor students for external competitions, business fairs, debates, and Olympiads.
Contribute to curriculum review, improvement, and subject-based planning.
Professional Development
Attend regular training workshops and Cambridge PD sessions to stay current with curriculum updates and teaching methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to inter-disciplinary learning modules.
Pastoral and Administrative Duties
Take on mentoring responsibilities for a group of students.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
Fulfill all administrative duties such as documentation, reports, and student tracking.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's Degree in Commerce / Economics / Accountancy or related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience teaching at the senior secondary level (CIE curriculum experience highly preferred).
Familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level syllabus for both Economics (0455/9708) and Accounting (0452/9706).
