Job Description

:

• To be responsible for providing all the required service of your area within consistent and appropriate timeframes.
• To be responsible for the collection of Histopathology samples in the lab.
• To be responsible for performing routine and special tests to ensure accurate and precise testing.
• To be responsible for maintenance of departmental equipment to minimize downtime and improve the live expectancy of the instruments.
• To be responsible for disinfecting various departmental areas using appropriate chemical agents.
• To help in the maintenance of inventory required for the efficient operations of the department.
• To be responsible for the maintenance of computerized database of patient results / reports for distribution and their tracking.
• To be responsible for reporting any deviation from SOP's to the reporting authority.
• Should know and take responsibility of handling quality control and proficiency testing.
• To participate in the training programs for the staff as per the requirement.
• Any other task assigned to you from time to time.
