Process Excellence function is a key function reporting to the factory manager, responsible for Vestas' one Operating model, Lean, PEX, MES, MRP systems, and Continuous improvement activities such as six sigma, QCC by involving all sections of the people. Regularly conducting Kaizen events, standard work study, and developing optimal solutions to meet demand variance. Active role in developing grassroots-level Quality circles and Kaizen teams. Guide the factory management team for the Strategy deployment process and follow through reviews. Strive for manufacturing excellence through internal and external benchmarking.
Responsibilities

• Implement the Global One operating model at the factory
• Create and maintain process VSMs
• Establish routing hours and standard work for all products and platforms
• Conduct VSM and Standard work events
• Sustain and improve PFEP
• Set up a Daily management system and ensure smooth running of the process
• Conduct 5S audits and train employees on 5S
• Coordinate the NPI and TT project launch at the factory
• Work closely with Global PEX and implement best practices
• Conduct regular SD review and update routing hours and Takt times
• Support CFT/QCC and GB for external competition
• Identify and initiate lean improvement projects and Green Belt Six Sigma projects
• Seek out and implement new ideas, develop and guide Kaizen activities, and QC circles
• Coordinate and organize internal as well as external resources in LEAN projects
• Secure continuous improvement and motivation of the Organization in changes
• Motivate factory lean education, give training to employees on lean and Kaizen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or any of the following disciplines - Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Industrial / Aerodynamics
• 10 -15 years' experience overall, with around 5 years in establishing Lean Projects
• Lean Six Sigma GB/BB
• SAP Qualification
