Job Description

Pet Handling & Care

? Safely and gently handle pets of all sizes and temperaments during exams, treatments, and procedures.

? Assist veterinarians and technicians in restraining animals as needed.

? Comfort anxious or nervous pets using calm and positive reinforcement techniques.

? Monitor pets in recovery, kennels, or waiting areas and report any unusual behavior or signs of distress.

Clinic Support & Hygiene

? Clean and sanitize pet holding areas, cages, and treatment rooms regularly.

? Ensure all handling equipment (leashes, muzzles, carriers) is clean and in good condition. ? Support grooming and feeding activities as required.

? Help maintain overall clinic cleanliness and infection control standards.

Team Collaboration

? Work closely with vets, front desk staff, and other handlers to ensure smooth clinic operations.

? Communicate clearly about pet behavior, special needs, or handling instructions.

? Participate in team training sessions on animal behavior and handling best practices.

Who We're Looking For

? A genuine love for animals and patience in working with them.

? Previous experience handling pets (veterinary, shelter, or pet care setting preferred). ? Understanding of basic animal behavior and body language.

? Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage stressful situations with empathy.

? Physically fit --able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

? Team player with a positive and proactive attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?21,000.00 - ?26,000.00 per month
